How Group Therapy Works Normally & During Lockdown.

Normally, under regular circumstances, group therapy at our iop center is a smooth, straight forward experience.
We provide transportation to the facility, and the facility will provide transportation back. IOP is a 3-5 hour block, consisting of 2 or 3 groups with breaks in between. Classes include Relapse Prevention, Money Management, Yoga, Music Therapy, Meditation, Breath Work and much, team building exercises, and much more!

We are not under normal circumstances. The pandemic at hand has forced us all to adapt to a new version of our pre existing routines, and drastically alter our daily habits and lives. Medical facilities are especially strict at following social distancing guidelines. Under lockdown, we don't require our clients to go into the office for IOP or doctors appointments , physically. Instead, we use Zoom Video Chat to protect our clients health and safety. Sometimes, this means that groups can be shorter, and there's no longer a need for transportation to and from. Freeing up a surprising amount of time to enjoy yourself or work.

Upon running your insurance after contact, if you are accepted, everything is covered and taken care of from then on, and you are welcome to stay for as long as you like. We believe that long term stability is key in building a new foundation for your recovery. We accept most private insurance. We believe it is important for family and loved ones to be involved in your recovery.  Release of information request forms are available for Family, Loved ones and legal guardians. Without an ROI, we are unable to confirm, nor deny patient location and status due to HIPAA.

Q: How long does it take to run my insurance?

A: As little as a few hours, to 3 days, Depending on the day of submission. We will always do our best to get you approved as soon as possible.

Q: Is there a curfew?

A: Yes. 12 A.M. on weekdays - 2 A.M. on weekends. If you need a curfew extension or an overnight, we will allow it, as long as you notify us ahead of time.

Q: Is there a blackout period?

A: No. A lot of houses will not allow you to use your phone or leave the house for a set amount of time. Usually 3-14 days. We do not believe that this is necessary. Our clients are encouraged to be responsible in all aspects of their life, and treating them like inmates is not conducive to a healthy recovery. You can use your phone whenever you like, with the exception of during group hours.

Q: Do you allow pets on the premises?

A: Yes. Depending on size. Must be a service animal or meet the weight requirements set by our building Homeowners Association (Under 25Lbs.)
